The CBS-74 Ptolemaios 2, the mothership of the paramilitary organisation known as Celestial Being flew through the seemingly peaceful dark void of space.

Inside the battleship, the CIC operator Feldt Grace was taking a much needed break inside her room. The non-stop fighting with the Autonomous Peace-Keeping Force, more commonly referred to as the A-Laws was taking it's toll on all the members.

Feldt tossed and turned in her bed trying as hard as she could to get comfortable and fall asleep, but to no avail. Perhaps she was simply too exhausted to sleep, or more likely the fact that she had to be ever vigilant and ready for action just in case the A-Laws attacked.

"Hah!" a spiteful voice in the back of her mind spoke up "What do you have to be afraid of? It's not like you're out on the front lines risking your life like Setsuna and the other Meisters or anything."

Of course Feldt knew her role was important, but she still couldn't help but feel somewhat useless, that maybe if she could do just a little bit more then sit in a chair on the bridge and relay data...

Feldt turned over under the bedsheets one last time, before letting out a long tired sigh and sitting up, finally deciding to give up on the impossible task of having a peaceful sleep.

Feldt climbed out of the bed and kicked herself up into the air, the low gravity on board the ship allowing her to float freely across the room, till finally she came to her desk.

The young CIC operator reached over and switched on a small lamp, lighting up the darkened room enough for her to see clearly. Feldt yawned as she rubbed her eyes while they adjusted to the sudden source of light, finally sitting down on the chair in front of the desk.

Her blue eyes scanned the small table in front of her, and they immeadiatly fell on the pictures she kept there, pictures of her mother, her father, Neil Dylandy, the original Lockon Stratos, Litchtendal Tsery and Christina Sierra, in short all the people she'd lost.

Feldt rested her elbows on the top of the desk and put her face in her hands, guilt washing over her as the same thoughts replayed in her mind for the hundredth time, "Why did they have to die?" "Why couldn't I save them?" even though Feldt knew the answers to those questions, it didn't make it any easier to deal with the pain.

Unconsciously, Feldt stretched her leg out and felt her foot connect with something solid, yet something far too soft to be the wall of her room. Removing her head from her hands and momentarily abandoning her downward spiral of guilt and remorse, Feldt looked underneath the desk and saw a fairly large box beneath it.

She smiled sadly as she reached down and effortlessly picked up the almost weightless box, which once it was in the light was revealed to have the words "Personal effects of Christina Sierra" stamped on the side in cold black ink.

Because of the secretive nature of Celestial Being, no one outside of the organisation was supposed to know any of the members real identities, and when the unspeakable happened and a comrade died, their relatives wouldn't be notified unless they too were a part of Celestial Being.

As such they couldn't exactly send the property of a deceased member to their next of kin, usually it would all be destroyed, but Feldt opted to keep a hold of the few items of Christina that they managed to recover from the wreckage of the original Ptolemy, if only because it made it harder for Feldt to forget her friend and comrade.

Before she knew it, Feldt's hands were moving towards the top of the box and grasping the lid, it was then that she realised that in these two years since Christina's death, she'd never actually looked inside the box, but now she needed a little bit more then a single picture and a handful of memories.

As soon as the lid was removed, various objects and trinkets began to float out of the box, a few pictures of the Ptolemaios crew, a picture of a woman who had her face crudely drawn over in black ink, the odd piece of jewellery, and perhaps the strangest of all, a dark green, ancient looking mask.

Feldt's attention was immediately drawn to the mask, it seemed so out of place, Feldt couldn't imagine Christina owning such a thing, she didn't seem to have any interest in antiques or history, then again it was more then possible that Christina had hidden depths to her that Feldt wasn't aware of.

Feldt reached out and grabbed the mask, stopping it's slow ascent upwards, her blue eyes peered through the empty eye holes with interest, though Feldt had an odd feeling that somehow the mask was observing her as well.

Slowly, Feldt turned the mask around in her hands, till she was gazing at the back part of the relic, the old, dark wood resting in her hands as she continued to look at it. As she stared, Feldt began to move the mask up towards her face, slowly but surely it moved closer and closer, till its wooden surface was mere inches from her face.

Suddenly the lights in her room flickered to life as warning klaxons sounded and the intercom came to life as the voice of the tactical forecaster of Celestial Being, Ms Sumeragi Lee Noriega,  said "Attention! Unknown Mobile Suits detected, all hands to primary battle stations!"

Feldt instantly snapped out of her trance and threw away the mask, letting it float harmlessly across the room as she dived towards her closet and quickly changed into her uniform while the rest of the crew raced to their positions.

As she zipped up the uniform, Feldt heard the familiar sound of the Gundams GN Drives activating, accompanied with the Meisters announcing their departure as they launched from the Ptolemaios's catapult to engage the enemy.

Finally finished changing, Feldt made for the door, carefully dodging the random objects floating in the low gravity as she herself floated across the room, once more her eyes falling on the strange mask, however she had more important things to worry about now.

Just as the door opened though, the ship suddenly shook violently and a loud explosion resounded throughout the ship, the force of the explosion causing Feldt to fly forwards uncontrollably spinning and twisting in the air, till finally she crashed back first into the corridor wall outside her room.

Feldt let out a small pained gasp as she tried to catch her breath and move, however another blast impacted, forcing Feldt back against the wall, her eyes closed as she struggled to move against the forces pressing her to the wall.

It was at that moment that Feldt opened her eyes and saw that the attack had caused the objects floating in her room to fly around more wildly then they had previously, especially a certain mask which was flung out through the open doorway and heading straight for Feldt.

The mask was moving too fast for Feldt to have any hope of evading it, and somehow, perhaps by luck, or perhaps because of another force, the mask twisted in mid-air just enough so that when it finally reached Feldt, it landed directly on her face.

The result was almost instantaneous, the once cold, lifeless wood suddenly sprang to life, it's surface becoming malleable, almost flesh like as it clawed at Feldt's face, its material stretching out and coating her head.

Feldt reached up and grabbed at the mask and let out a shriek of terror as she tried to pull it off her head, however no matter how much she pulled, the mask continued to expand over her head undaunted.

Soon enough Feldt's familiar pink hair was gone, hidden away by the pulsating surface of the mask as it finished encompassing her entire head.

Feldt let out a small cry just as she began to inexplicably spin around at an alarming rate, transforming into a human sized vortex of pink and green which hovered in the air as it violently twirled around, all the while muffled shouts and screams echoed from within.

As the twister continued to spin though, the yells and cries began to die down till eventually the only sound was the rushing of wind caused by the tornado's insane speed.

Suddenly, the howling winds ceased and the tornado came to a silent stop, revealing a pink haired young woman with a bright green, almost rubbery looking face with exaggerated features.

The figure was Feldt Grace, but gone was her usual pink and white Celestial Being uniform, instead Feldt was now wearing a pink and green version of the standard pilot suit worn by the Gundam Meisters. Gone was her solemn expression, now replaced by the widest grin ever seen.

All evidence of exhaustion had vanished as the new Feldt stretched her arms above her head and giggled "Well now" she said in a much more upbeat tone then she had previously "This is new".

Feldt flexed her fingers in front of her eyes, as if testing them for the first time, before suddenly reaching into a pocket that seemed to just appear on the space suit, and pulling out a small hand mirror.

As soon as she gazed at her reflection, Feldt's eyes went wide, wider then should have been physically possible, somehow her eye balls increased in size till they took up the entire top half of her face, before finally shrinking back down to normal.

Feldt's grin grew wider then ever "Who would have guessed green would suit me so well?" she said to herself. As Feldt admired herself though, another blast hit the ship and once more the intercom crackled to life.

"Feldt report the the bridge immediately!" Sumeragi's voice said through the device, but the new Feldt just scoffed.

"Report to the bridge" She said in a mocking tone "What do I look like a bridge bunny?" she said as a pair of rabbit ears sprouted on her head. Feldt stared blankly in the hand mirror once again, before throwing it away and grabbing both ears with her hands "Not this time!" she said as she ripped the ears off and threw them away too "This time I'm going to actually do something!" she declared as she suddenly dashed down the corridor, turning into a pink and green blur.
Meanwhile, inside the Ptolemaios' hangar and repair bay, Mobile Suit mechanic and chief engineer for Celestial Being, Ian Vashti was hard at work putting some last minute adjustments on a support device for the Arios Gundam.

Suddenly an eerily familiar voice spoke up behind him "Gundam Meister Feldt Grace reporting for duty!" confused Ian spun around, his jaw falling open when he saw the the CIC operator in question.

"Feldt?" he finally said "What happened to your...Wait did you say Gundam Meister?"

"Yep! You're looking at your new ace pilot!" Feldt exclaimed.

"But you haven't had any kind of training for operating Mobile Suits" Ian said simply, still staring at Feldt's green features.

"Pfft, did you forget both my parents were Meisters? Obviously I'm genetically predispositioned to be amazing"

"I don't think genetics work that way, besides even if you were a Meister, we don't have any other Mobile Suits, let alone another Gundam" Ian replied.

Feldt suddenly pointed behind the engineer "What about Exia?"

Ian turned around and looked at the 3rd Generation Gundam Feldt was pointing at, the machine was in dire straights, it's left arm was missing, it's head had been crudely reattached, pieces of it's armour was missing, revealing the fragile frame beneath it and to top it off, one of the eyes was missing.

Ian laughed "That thing ain't going anywhere except maybe the scrap heap I'm afraid" he said turning back to Feldt.

Feldt groaned "But you're a master mechanic! Surely you can fix it" she cried, but Ian just shook his head in response "...Oh well if you can't do it then" Feldt said, trying to hide a mischievous grin.

"Oh no, don't think by calling into question my expertise as an engineer you can get me to perform an impossible feat like repairing Exia in a few minutes, that trick only works in cartoons."

Feldt grimaced "Fine then! I'll just fix it myself! People seem to forget that I'm also a mechanic anyway" she said as she zipped on over to the damaged Exia at a speed so fast she arrived there almost instantaneously.

Now sporting a bright yellow hard hat and a small box of tools, Feldt pulled out a small hammer and looked at Exia, before stretching her arm out like rubber and grabbing a dark red curtain which materialised at the end of the hangar bay, before drawing it across, obscuring Ian's view of Exia.

Suddenly there was the sound of metal clanging and sawing and burning and drilling all at once, accompanied by the occasional squeaking and within seconds of the sounds beginning, the curtain was moved.

Ian stared at the now fully rebuilt Exia, however it wasn't exactly as it was before it was damaged, now all the white parts of the suit were repainted a rose pink colour, while the blue sections of its torso was recoloured into a wine red colour.

Feldt cheerfully stood on the rebuilt Exia's shoulder "Like it?" she called out to Ian "I call this puppy the GN-001.5 Gundam Exia FG Custom, or just Exia FG for short. I took the liberty of adding a few modifications to it as well, this baby is three times faster then the original Exia, plus it's got a sweeter paint job!".

Ian looked on with an impressed and shocked expression "That's all well and good, but we don't have a spare GN Drive so how are you going to power it?"

Feldt chuckled as she hopped down to Exia FG's torso and opened up the cockpit hatch "Oh that's easy, I just installed a Minovsky Ultracompact Fusion Reactor" she said as she pulled out a helmet which perfectly matched her pilot suit and put it on.

"A Mino-wha?" Ian said, however Feldt didn't respond, instead she closed Exia FG's hatch and powered the Gundam up, before remotely activating the elevator which took her to the launch catapult.

As Exia FG stood on the catapult, a screen popped up on the internal display in front of Feldt, showing the face of a very angry looking Sumeragi "What the hell are you doing Feldt?" she yelled, putting the fact that her face was green down to her helmets visor tint.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm launching in a Gundam, duh" she said matter of factly.

"No you are not! Get that machine back to the hangar and get up on the bridge right now!" Sumeragi said angrily.

"I don't wanna" Feldt whined "Just activate the catapult and I'll go clear up those A-Laws faster then you can says Extraterrestrial Living-Metal Shape Shifters"

"I'm not going to give you permission to sortie and I'm definitely not going to allow you use of the catapult, now for the last time get out of that suit!" Sumerahi responded.

Feldt sighed "Why do I have to do everything myself?" she muttered as she pulled up a keyboard and began to press buttons at such a speed her fingers became a blur.

"What are you doing?" Sumeragi said.

"Hacking the Ptolemy's system" Feldt replied, not tearing her eyes from the screen.

Sumeragi laughed "Feldt I know you're our technical officer but there's no way you can-" Sumeragi was cut off by a loud "Ping" noise resounding throughout the bridge.

"And done!" Feldt said triumphantly as she moved the key board away and grabbed the controls "Now then; Feldt Grace! Engaging the enemy!" She said as the catapult launched the Exia FG forwards, and sending it out into space.

Exia FG streaked through the vacuum like a bright red comet, moving towards an area of space where bright flashing lights and explosions indicated that there was a battle going on.

Setsuna F. Seiei worked the controls to 00 Raiser, dodging the barrage of beams fired at him from the group of Ahead's he was tackling. Setsuna returned fire, striking one of the Aheads straight in the chest and causing it to explode, forcing the Mobile Suits to break formation and move back, giving 00 Raiser some breathing room.

Suddenly indicators flashed on 00 Raisers HUD and before Setsuna had time to react, he saw four wires enclose around 00 Raiser. The second the wires made contact, massive amounts of electricity pulsated throughout 00 Raiser and even through Setsuna himself, causing the young Gundam Meister to let out a howl of pain.

00 Raiser's controls locked up, not that Setsuna was in any position to operate them while getting shocked like this though. Setsuna managed to look at the monitor and see his assailant, the Innovators large Mobile Suit called the Regnant, along with the platoon of Aheads from earlier closing in on the immobile Gundam.

Setsuna tried to contact the other Meisters, but the pain of being shocked was too great, he would just have to hope that one of them came to his aid soon, before the Aheads finished him off.

Just as the Aheads closed in on 00 Raiser, the four electric cables wrapped around the Gundam suddenly lost their charge, relieving Setsuna and the 00 Raiser from the barrage of electricity.

Swivelling the machine round, Setsuna gasped at what he saw before him.

A red and pink coloured Gundam Exia stood between him and the A-Laws Mobile Suits, it's GN-Sword extended and glowing a bright pinkish red, indicating that it had just cut the wires.

"Exia? But how?" Setsuna said to himself just as a screen appeared on his main monitor.

"That's easy!" Feldt said "I rebuilt it, you like?" she asked.

"Feldt? How did you-" Setsuna was cut off by Exia FG suddenly moving in closer to 00 Raiser, placing both of the Gundams "Faces" in close proximity.

"Don't worry your pretty little head about it Setsuna" Feldt said in a seductive tone "Now then, I think you and I should have a little talk" suddenly though, a stray beam crashed into Exia FG's back.

The Gundam turned around, seemingly unharmed by the attack, save for a tiny scorch mark "You insane monsters!" Feldt screamed, somehow being heard by all pilots in the vicinity be they Celestial Being or A-Laws "You ruined my paint job! I'll get you for this!" She declared as Exia FG charged sword first at the Ahead which fired.

Exia FG's arm flew in all directions faster then the eye could see, till finally the wild swinging ceased. The Ahead just floated there, seemingly unharmed, as it raised it's rifle to fire, only for it's arm to suddenly fly away from the rest of its body.

Just as the arm floated away, so did it's left leg, followed by the head, till suddenly the suit broke into a thousand different pieces, all of which floated away into the endless void of space.

The Aheads and the Regnant looked at the destroyed Ahead and the Exia FG for a moment, before suddenly flying away "Yeah that's right!" Feldt yelled out "Run away like the spineless dogs you-" suddenly a gigantic beam smashed into Exia FG, knocking it back some distance and causing Feldt to crash into the main monitor in the cockpit, flattening her like a pancake.

"You know, suddenly all those PSA's about wearing your seatbelt make sense to me" Feldt said as she pulled herself free from the monitor and began tore-inflate, till she was finally three dimensional again.

Feldt turned the Exia FG around to face the direction where the beam had come from, only to see a light green Mobile Suit clutching a very large beam cannon in it's hands.

"How the hell did that suit survive a direct hit like that?" The pilot of said Mobile Suit, the Innovator known as Revive Revival, said.

Exia FG suddenly charged at the Mobile Suit called the Gadessa, GN-Sword drawn out as it came closer and closer.

"Whatever, you won't survive this shot!" Revive said sadistically as the Gadessa fired its GN Mega Launcher once more.

The beam impacted on the Exia FG, but the customised Gundam continued to fly forwards, unaffected by the blast.

Revive continued to put the pressure on the Exia FG, hoping the suit would give soon and break apart, however the Innovators hopes were in vain as the Gundam came within sword swiping distance.

The Gadessa let go of its Mega Launcher just as the Exia FG's sword cleaved it in two, causing the weapon to explode and knock the Innovator back a few feet. "Fine then!" Revive said as the Gadessa drew a beam sabre, which flickered to life "We'll settle this at close range! There's no way a mere human will beat me!".

The Gadessa charged to Exia FG and swung it's beam sabre down on the Gundam, which raised it's glowing GN-Sword up and blocked the strike with ease. The Gadessa pulled back and slashed again, only for the Exia FG to block that too, followed by the Gundam kicking the Gadessa in the torso, knocking it back again.

Revive recovered just in time to see the Gundam charge forward again, and managed to raise the beam sabre up to block the GN-Sword before it could slash through the Gadessa. The two Mobile Suits clashed their swords and pushed with all their might against the other, GN particles erupted around the two machines as their clash intensified.

"I won't be beaten by a human!" Revive yelled again as the Gadessa activated it's verniers and began to push the Exia FG backwards, but suddenly a new voice spoke up inside the Gadessa's cockpit.

"Well there's no way in hell I'll be beaten by some gender confused, lab experiment!" Feldt yelled as Exia FG used it's free hand to pull out a beam sabre of it's very own and slashed at the Gadessa.

The arm that held the beam sabre suddenly exploded as the Exia FG's sword cut right through it, followed by the now free, GN-Sword slicing through the remaining arm.

Revive flew backwards as fast as the Gadessa's engines would allow "Damn it!" the Innovator practically screamed as the Gadessa retreated to the remaining Aheads as they flew back to their mother ship.

"Like I'm going to let you get away that easily" Feldt sneered as the Exia FG pulled out it's own variation of the GN Mega Launcher the Gadessa had used previously, this one even bigger and charging up a green energy instead of the familiar yellow one.

"See you in hell you overgrown sea monkey!" Feldt said as she fired the Mega Launcher, sending a colossal beam at the retreating forces.

Just before the beam hit, the Gadessa's escape system activated and the core fighter on its back jettisoned itself and flew just far enough away to avoid the blast, the now pilot-less Gadessa and the legion of Aheads however weren't so lucky.

In a flash the beam hit the fleeing Mobile Suits and obliterated them all instantly, leaving not even a shred of evidence that there had ever been anything there but space dust.

The core fighter flew away unbeknownst to Feldt, it being swiftly followed by a heavily damaged Regnant as they limped back to the A-Laws mother ship, all the while Revive cursed the pilot of the Exia FG "Next time, I'll crush that machine and it's pilot".

Exia FG's GN-Sword returned to it's usual folded up position as the machine dusted it's hands off "There, that's how you deal with freaks" Feldt said happily as Exia FG turned around and prepared to head back to the Ptolemaios 2.

Suddenly Sumeragi's face appeared on the Exia FG's monitor again "Feldt! You'd better start explaining yourself, what's this Ian's telling me about you rebuilding Exia in seconds? And this thing about a green face."

Feldt chuckled "Don't worry Ms. Sumeragi, I'll explain everything, first of all I was just relaxing in my room when suddenly-" Feldt stopped mid-sentence as she stared at something else on the monitor.

"When suddenly what?" Sumeragi asked.

Feldt continued to ignore her for a second, before snapping out of it "On second thought, I'll tell you later, right now I've got some...Business to take care of, see ya!" Feldt said as she reached for a button below the main monitor.

"Don't you dare cut me-" Feldt pressed the button, causing Sumeragi to disappear from her screen, which was now filled with nothing but the 00 Raiser and Setsuna on the main view screen, which now suddenly had hundreds of tiny hearts floating around on it.

Feldt licked her lips as she fired up Exia FG's verniers and raced towards 00 Raiser, it's arms out stretched "Now that works out of the way, time for a little fun!" Feldt giggled as 00 Raiser started to fly away from the pursuing Exia FG "Come back my sweet desert flower!"
What can I say I've had mecha on the brain a lot lately so I was inspired to do this, might actually do some more Gundam stories, though I'd have to think on who would be the wearer, I'm open to any suggestions you guys might have on that front.

Oh also, spot the Gundam refferences, we'll call it a game shall we? Enjoy

Another nice one.
You should make a sequel.
